Fitbit has started rolling out the Find phone feature to its Luxe fitness tracker. Recently Fitbit Charge 5 got the Find Phone feature via an update and is now making its way to the Luxe.
With this new feature, Luxe users will be able to locate their lost phone. The smartphone will then emit a loud sound, even if the phone is on silent mode. Additionally, the Find my Phone feature will also work even if the phone is not connected to the internet.

But the tracker and the paired smartphone must be within the Bluetooth range for the feature to work. If the smartphone is not within the range, users will have to rely on other methods to find their device.
It was a long-awaited request from the Fitbit users to get this feature on the tracker, and many users are already posted the request on the Fitbit Feature Request Community. So, it is good to see that the company has finally started rolling out the Find my Phone feature to its devices.
The Update Ver: 1.171.50 .19 is currently rolling out to all the users, and it will be available to everyone in a few days. So, if you are using a Luxe fitness tracker, make sure to keep an eye out for the update. If it is available, you can see the software update notification on the Fitbit App on your smartphone. Just tap on it, and the update will start downloading to your device.
Before you update the tracker, ensure the battery is charged and your smartphone is connected to the internet. Once the update(Update Ver: 1.171.50 .19) is downloaded, it will be installed automatically on your device. After the installation is complete, you can locate the Find Phone icon on the quick menu.
